Aims & Scope

ASES EDUSCI is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed, indexed, and scientific journal that publishes original research articles contributing to the field of education. The publication languages are Turkish and English. The journal started its publication in December 2021 and the journal publishes two issues per year, in December and June.

ASES Edusci is an academic journal that publishes research related to education and teaching. The journal aims to feature studies with academic standards that address educational problems, related academic discussions, issues, and their solutions. ASES Edusci also welcomes new implementations of contemporary pedagogical approaches that will contribute to stakeholders worldwide. Furthermore, as a journal, we aim to build new opportunities and connections through articles submitted from anywhere in the world.

The journal publishes original studies addressing teacher education, educational sciences, field education, educational policies, and practices across all levels of education, from early childhood to higher and adult education. It embraces interdisciplinary and multi-method approaches, welcoming qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method studies, as well as high-quality review articles that thoroughly evaluate and synthesise existing research to address specific empirical and/or theoretical questions. Publications are expected to make significant theoretical, methodological, or practical contributions to the international literature.

Preferred topic areas include:

  • Teacher education and professional development

  • Educational administration and policy

  • Teaching and learning processes and practices

  • Educational technology and digital transformation

  • Field-specific education (Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, Language Education, Fine Arts, etc.)

  • Lifelong learning, adult education, non-formal education

  • Measurement, assessment, and research methods in education

In addition, other manuscripts related to education may also be published. However, manuscripts outside the specified scope or not complying with submission guidelines will be rejected without peer review by the decision of the editor or editorial board and returned to the authors.

Submissions must be firmly grounded in current international literature, demonstrate substantial originality, and provide clear theoretical and/or empirical contributions. Manuscripts with a limited scope addressing only local issues without broader theoretical or practical implications may be rejected without review.

Each published study aims to advance an international perspective in education, discuss findings obtained from different contexts at a global level, and create scientific impact.
