About the Journal

ASES EDUSCI – ASES International Journal of Educational Sciences is an international, peer-reviewed, indexed, and open-access journal that publishes original research articles contributing to the field of education. The publication languages are Turkish and English. The journal commenced publication in December 2021 and is published biannually in June and December.

Aims and Scope

The aim of the journal is to contribute to the literature by publishing high-quality research conducted in various fields of educational sciences and to support scientific development in the field. The journal addresses educational researchers, academics, teachers, and practitioners, and publishes both theoretical and applied studies.

The scope of the journal includes:

In addition, manuscripts from other disciplines related to education are also accepted. However, manuscripts that fall outside the scope or do not comply with the submission guidelines may be rejected without peer review at the discretion of the editor or editorial board.

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to ASES EDUSCI are initially evaluated by the editorial team. Following checks for adherence to submission guidelines, journal scope, and plagiarism screening, manuscripts deemed suitable are subjected to a double-blind peer review process. In this process, at least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscripts, and the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential.

Reviewers assess submissions for scientific originality, methodological adequacy, contribution to the field, language quality, and ethical compliance. The review process is expected to be completed within an average of 30 days. Reviewers may request revisions and may choose to re-evaluate the revised manuscript. Manuscripts receiving favorable reviews are accepted for publication. Appeals to reviewer reports are examined by the editors, and if necessary, additional expert opinion may be sought.

Open Access Policy

ASES EDUSCI is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license. All content is freely accessible without charge, and may be used with appropriate citation for non-commercial purposes.

Archiving

The journal’s content is preserved via the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to ensure long-term digital preservation.

Target Audience

The journal is intended for researchers, academics, postgraduate students, teachers, and practitioners interested in educational sciences and field-based education.
