Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to ASES EDUSCI (International Journal of Educational Sciences) undergo a double-blind peer review process.

After submission, manuscripts are initially reviewed by the editors for compliance with the journal’s scope, ethical standards, and author guidelines. A plagiarism (similarity) check is conducted, and manuscripts exceeding acceptable similarity limits may be returned to the authors or rejected.

Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers. Reviewer and author identities are kept confidential throughout the process.

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on scientific quality, originality, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the field. Reviewers are generally expected to complete their evaluations within 30 days.

Based on reviewer reports, the editor makes one of the following decisions:

  • Accept

  • Minor revision

  • Major revision

  • Reject

Authors are required to submit revised manuscripts within the time specified by the editor. Revised manuscripts may be sent back to reviewers when necessary.

Editorial decisions are made independently of any financial considerations. The journal adheres to the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines and applies a zero-tolerance policy toward ethical misconduct.
